5 Ways To Be Productive In The Morning

It’s so easy to wake up everyday and just look to your phone and check social media, ain’t it? It’s really hard to break that routine, or any routine for that matter. So how do we break these bad habits to start a successful morning and start our day right? Below I will share some easy tricks that you can start with and work your way up.

1. Wake up on your first alarm. It’s so easy to hit snooze or put your alarm on for the last second before you jump out of bed. You always want to make sure you leave enough time so you aren’t running around frazzled all day. How you start your day definitely defines how your day is going to turn out.

2. Now that you are up… first; make your bed. It always is nice to come home from a long day to a cozy looking made bed. Now, you need to stretch/exercise, reflect/meditate, write down your goals and what you need to accomplish for the day and drink a big glass of water as well as a balanced breakfast. This will help you ease into the day and get all those thoughts out so you start your day clear minded.

3. Make sure you get outside. If you can’t do it in the morning, or live in an apartment crack open the window for a bit and let some fresh air in.

4. Start using an app that can help you get into a routine. The app calm is very helpful and can clear your mind and provide you easy to follow routines.

5. Make sure you set out your outfit for the day. (Even better if you planned this the night before!) Whether you WFH or in office, you want to wear something that makes you feel good.

Being productive in the morning doesn’t need to be a huge task, but when you break it down to smaller pieces and you’ll get yourself into a rhythm and it will be that much easier to follow!
